After months of development and research the eckhoBristol website went live at midnight on the 1st October 2011, the website is a one stop shop of News, Events, History, Airport Information and Weather and this information will continue to grow and expand daily, we are already encouraging and allowing event submissions from visitors and event organisers totally free. Our news articles are updated daily, weather information is never more than 15 minutes out of date and our history section will continue to grow over time to provide a library of information to the community of Bristol.

As we are a media company launching a new website like this is quote easy for us, but we have made sure the site has been perfected and completed to a very high level, before the site went live a number of beta testers were able to test drive the site and report back findings, any issues were then resolved before the main launch date. Our launch date saw an impressive number of visits and all feedback and comments received were very pleasing and commented on the professional feel of the site and attention to detail.

There are many new things planned for the website for the future and we are gaining support from local companies and charities across Bristol to help promote the site and reach our target audience – the community of Bristol.

From the 1st October 2011 we are pleased to announce that we have a new company join the eckhoMedia group, this new addition is dedicated to creating websites for the golf club industry and brings together our own in-house bespoke content management system.

The company is known as the “The Green Birdie” and includes strong branding and corporate identity to enable us to be professionally recognised and capture the golf industry with the use of the latest web technologies and services available currently. The team behind the company are in the process of creating a bespoke content management system based around the glueCMS system but enhanced and further developed to make the system appropriate to golf clubs and their requirements. This is an exciting time for us and will open up many avenues of interest and development.

Our new company website has today gone live and marks a major milestone in the companies history, it has been months in the planning, design and implementation stages but is finally live and open to the world, the launch of the site ties in with the company rebrand and change of name that happened earlier this year.

We have worked hard to bring all relevant information into one main place regarding each of our sister companies, the object of this website is to be the main hub of information, news, articles, links and relevant details regarding the eckhoMedia Group.

Today is the official second birthday for sister company eckhoCreative, the team at eckhoMedia have been celebrating this with a specially designed and made birthday cake for the occasion completed with the company logo and name.

During February 2011 parent company eckhoSystems rebranded into eckhoMedia, this now means that eckhoCreative and eckhoWebsiteDesign are now part of the expanding eckhoMedia Group of companies. We are now in the process of updating the company websites and creating a new company website for eckhoMedia which will be launched later this year, our clients will of received an email from the Accounts manager informing you of invoice and payment changes that you need to be aware of.

The reason to change our company name came about after many changes within the company, these changes were decided needed to be reflected in the branding and naming of the company as we had outgrown the old name and needed one that suited our new place in the market, the name “media” was added to the end of eckho and so the new name was born, we all felt this was more professional sounding, memorable, easier to say and will take us well into the future of expansions and plans, we definately wanted to retain the eckho part of the name and so a new ending was felt the best option.
