Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club are a professional flying club based at Bristol Airport complete with great views, cafe and highly professional instructors providing private pilot training and much more. The club also offer trial lessons that are very popular as gifts or for the next generation of pilots to get their taste of freedom and flying.
The client felt the existing website for the club needed an overhaul to improve its appearance and navigation along with breaking down and separating content areas to allow visitors to get to the information they need quicker and for the required content to be in an easy to read form. We set about designing a bespoke website that complimented the existing logo along with a splash of colour to brighten and improve the look and feel, one of the key call to actions for the website is the purchase of trial lessons and a lot of focus has been put into this. As with all modern websites cross device compatibility is required and we have achieved this on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop devices.
Visitors to this website need to see what aircraft are available for hire, what aircraft they may be flying in and what the club can offer so strong photography was required, not a great deal of images existed so we provided a photography service resulting in some stunning images of the club, fleet and even the instructors themselves so visitors really get to know the club before they visit.
We finished the project by overhauling and integrating the social media channels as well as key search engine optimisation tasks once the website had been launched.
